I did a Studio J layout using the Flirty papers but then changed the color scheme.  That's the cool thing about Studio J!

My daughter is in her high school play and these are some pics of the kids being goofy at practice.

I did do some cards as well with Flirty and the Cricut Artiste cartridge but did not have time today to take pics- will try to get them up asap.

Paper Trail Blog Hop for September

Ok- here is a quickie post. We are off to go camping in about an hour. - if you came from Karen's Inky Fingers blog, you are on the right trail. We are using our new CTMH Moonlight papers this month. The layout ideas came from the new CTMH idea book. I did three cards using Moonlight and one of our new Halloween stamps sets as well as an old set too. I did do a bit of decorating on the insides too and will try to get those pics up when we return from camping.

August Paper Trail Blog Hop

This month we are doing an anything goes hop as we introduce our new catalog. If you have arrived from Tracey's Papercrafting Princess blog then you are on the right trail :) but of course, you can start or stop from any point on the blog.
I chose to do some Studio J layouts. The first two use Florentine which is a paper pack that was held over in this new Autumn/Winter catalog.  For the second two I tried out the new Express collections in Studio J- the layouts are totally done for you - all you have to do is drag in your pictures!  You can make changes to the layout but if you are happy with colors and such it is such a quick way to do an album. I did change the title and color scheme on the Sylvan Beach layout.

July Cruisin' Paper Trail Blog Hop

If you arrived here from Vicki's blog then you are on the right trail.

I did a layout this month with Studio J for my contribution to the blog hop. We are using Cruisin' papers this month. I could not find my paper pack anywhere so opted for the Studio J layout- so easy and all the papers are in there. Great product!!  I did change some of the B&T paper colors that were in my particular layout to match better with my pics. These are some old pics from 2006 when my kids were much smaller and cuter :) Not that they are not cute now but definitely in a different way.

Look at these Studio J layouts. I did these five 2 page spreads in about 3 hours.

This great company, CTMH, that I am a consultant with- is so generous!  Every person going to the CTMH convention in July gets a code for 5 free Studio J layouts. How cool is that?? I am bad and did not follow the directions to do the layouts the way they showed us (time contraints on my part). The intent I am sure is to teach us some new techniques. You can do so many cool things with Studio J. Mine are pretty basic but I did change the paper colors in a few layouts. I will try the layouts they suggested when I have time this summer. Only one more week til I am off for the summer!! Yeah!  Of course, July is already going to fly by-  (training at school for 6 days, off to convention for 5 days, family camping, trip to my mom's). Maybe August will be a little slower? Not!!
