Studio J Layouts

Abby in Philly on her Chorus trip

In Philly for the dinner cruise on the Chorus trip

Phil's HS graduation

Adventure Aquarium in NJ

My hubby's grandmother- Mary Elizabeth Hoke

Look at these Studio J layouts. I did these five 2 page spreads in about 3 hours.

This great company, CTMH, that I am a consultant with- is so generous!  Every person going to the CTMH convention in July gets a code for 5 free Studio J layouts. How cool is that?? I am bad and did not follow the directions to do the layouts the way they showed us (time contraints on my part). The intent I am sure is to teach us some new techniques. You can do so many cool things with Studio J. Mine are pretty basic but I did change the paper colors in a few layouts. I will try the layouts they suggested when I have time this summer. Only one more week til I am off for the summer!! Yeah!  Of course, July is already going to fly by-  (training at school for 6 days, off to convention for 5 days, family camping, trip to my mom's). Maybe August will be a little slower? Not!!

Paper Trail June Blog Hop

Welcome to the Paper Trails blog hop. If you came here from Mary's blog you are on the right track.  This month we are working with Footloose papers. They really are so fun and I love the colors. Very beachy and springy. I did several layouts at the Leadershare in NJ that I attended so I cannot take credit for these layout ideas. I did not totally complete them yet either. The originals had titles on them and of course, I have not added pics yet.  I will add more when I decide how to use these layouts.

Then I created a project of my own :) I found the original idea for this card pouch on Splitcoaststampers. I adjusted it for standard cards. I only created one of the cards so far to fill it but it will hold 4 cards and 4 envelopes. It's a cute, quick gift idea.  I used some binder clips to hold this one closed but you could also use a punch to put a handle near the top and tie it closed with a ribbon. See example of that in the last picture. The first pic is the outside of the pouch, the second is an inside view and the 3rd is the card.

That's it for this month. Thanks for looking. Hop on to

Karen's blog now.

May Paper Trail Blog Hop

Welcome to the Paper Trail Blog Hop for the month of April. If you've come here from Linda's blog,  you are right on the trail.  This month we are using the CTMH paper pack Superhero. My cards are mainly in blues and reds; very manly papers. I used cranberry ink. I also used the April stamp of the month- You Are.  Some cranberry ribbon and accents were added for good measure.

Now it's off to Tracey's blog. Thanks for hopping with us and enjoy the rest of the wonderful artwork with Superhero.
